« On a 2-day trip to Paris, I went to the Trocadero early to photograph the architecture, the Eiffel Tower and everything around these wonderful monuments. I wanted to go by the Seine and so I got off at Passy station, where I got out by following the crowd up a staircase. At the top, as usual, I looked around and thanks to the bridge above the station I saw the rails shining in the light. I'm not a fan of too much sun, but the perspective effect was striking. Unfortunately there was a wire fence to prevent people from falling off I guess, not making it easy for photographers, especially as I don't usually take the Hasselblad out for quick shots without a tripod, but aiming with a rangefinder camera in these conditions is more complicated. In addition, a bicycle was attached to the middle of the perspective, making it more complicated to frame. So I sat on the saddle and took 4 photographs. »
